Hey, ex-roomie-o-mine,
Did I tell you about the Berkeley program? I can't remember. Anyway, my advisor all but packed my bag for me so I'm being flown off to Nor Cal to interview for the silly thing. The High Overlords of Academia are demanding critters, let me tell you.
I don't know. It would be an awesome opportunity and God knows I've been dying to work with Dr. Walsh. He's only the best in the field. It's crazy competitive but Dr. Walsh has these theories about localized magnetic fields that I won't go into but basically it's the perfect project.
But it would mean leaving Hawaii. I just don't know. No decisions yet.
Advise me, dammit.

I told you like, two weeks ago when I first found out. It was the same phone call as when you found those cute shoes and mocked me because I had no excuse to buy them in Hilo.
I have my interview first thing tomorrow morning. Tonight they ran me into the ground and I think I'm scheduled to be kidnapped for more 'impress the prospect' "fun" soon.
I'd still be on the West Coast, you ninny! It's not that much closer.
