An apparent biological attack has struck the Montrose in Houston Texas. Reports are sketchy as authorities are being closed lipped on the situation, but at least one person is believed to have died in the incident which started last night. Others have been taken to the local hospital for treatment.
The source seems to be the flood waters from recent rains, which appear to have been poisoned by someone or something. The streets are currently littered with dead squirrels, pigeons and other small animals. Pet owners in the area are advised to not let their animals in the water. Citizens of the area are also heavily advised to stay out of the water as the investigation continues.
Scattered witness reports point to the possibility of mutant involvement. The authorities wish to remind people that these are rumors only and are being investigated.
