Subject: Looking into Vanessa's disappearance
All-
I kind of forgot to drop a comment to Doc Jean's post, but I've been doing some digging myself, and thought I should share the results around. Mostly been digging into emails and bank accounts (including the offshore one where she stashes her merc money that she probably thought I didn't know about). Last activity on all of the above is in the 21st/22nd time frame after sending an email to Bishop.
Other than coworkers and friends, her last email/text/call records are to a group of late teens/early 20s kids who all seem to be in the same sort of club scene in Boston.
According to motel records, she never actually checked out of her room, the staff showed up after her allotted checkout time, and found the place empty. I'm currently working on traffic cameras near there to see if I can get anything more concrete. I'll let you know if I find anything.

Productive digging. The update is appreciated.
I'm planning on going up to the motel as soon as I can (damn lawyers seem to need me every day) to use my powers on the place, and Jean and I are in the process of retrieving her phones from the FBI so we'll try to get something off of those. Bishop seems to believe she was abducted but until we have evidence of that I prefer to live in the land of denial.

I've talked to Doc Jean about this and I figured I'd drop you a line as well. Mostly, I think you might be able to do some electronic tracking for me. A while back, somebody was looking to hire mercs to eliminate Mag Elga - the whole team, not just one or two of them. I picked up one of the contracts, some pedo named Mike, and I can give you the information on the bank accounts my pay was transferred from. I'm not sure it'll do any good, but if you can come up with something there, let me know and I'll take care of it.
Obviously, if you could keep that information close to your vest, I'd appreciate it. Bad publicity, a merc giving up info on his employers. And I imagine it could cause some rough spots if word of my involvement in Mikey-boy's death gets out for a variety of reasons.
