Subject: Follow-up
Hey Angelo & Sooraya -
Just wanted to give you and update on the children from Madripoor that Sooraya contacted us about. The littles have been settled in the youth foster centre for a bit and seem to have adjusted well. Nightmares and the like, typical reactions to the type of trauma they experienced. There's a counselor available round the clock to them, in addition to the usual resident caregivers.
Smooth sailing so far as schooling is concerned, as well. No ripples from the locals. Seems they've closed ranks around the children a bit, and friendships outside the youth centre seem to be growing organically.
If either of you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Hi Terry,
That's wonderful news to hear. And even better to hear that they seem to have become a part of the local community as well.
I hear occasional tidbits from the older kids still in Madripoor and most seem to doing okay, though struggling to adapt from their lives on the street. I am still coordinating with Moira and Professor Xavier on Muir to get someone out there who might be able to help with one of the kids.
Have you also talked with America? While I haven't seen much of her, she might like hearing her old friends found a safe place.

I'm well pleased they've settled as they have. I didn't suspect there'd be trouble, but it's always nice to be proven right.
I haven't spoken with America, actually. I did say hello when she introduced herself on the mansion's journals, but she's been quiet thus far and I wasn't sure I should interrupt. Everyone handles trauma differently, of course, but if you think it might be a good idea to reach out, I certainly can.

If you wouldn't mind sending me a summary of what you know about the children who stayed in Madripoor, I'll tell her what's been happening at the youth foster centre.
Angelo, do you have any updates about the American sisters and their situation? Might be nice to round out the conversation with that, just so America knows we're taking it seriously, looking after all of them?

No worries. It's been a bit hectic around here, to be sure. It's good to hear the girls are doing well. All said, this is probably the best outcome we could have expected given all their various situations.
