Jeanie-love, I've decided to join the X-Men. Aside from training courses and things is there anything else I should know or do? Aside from speaking with Scott, mind. I've done that already.
Mostly reading old mission logs, getting familiar with your teammates that you'll be working with...Some of it is learning as you go in addition to the training courses.
I didn't really enjoy being nearly throttled or feeling so very confined in what I was doing during the riots. I'd like to be able to help more. And I'd like to be able to better defend myself. I held up my shield for a good 45 minutes and wound up with nosebleeds and a headache for a couple days. I've never really focused on developing my shielding abilities and well. It showed.
Thank you, love. Thought I'd start out with old mission reports and mayhap some of the recorded Danger Room scenarios, just to get a field for how it all comes together. If you've a free bit of time, I'd enjoy the company and could pick your brain a bit about the strategies the team uses? Only if it won't take you away from the medlab, though.
If you don't mind sitting with me in the medlab and talking while I work. There's still some things I need to finish up chart wise. I'm horribly behind.
